The company will showcase its cost-effective and hassle-free wastewater solutions through live demonstrations and full scale exhibits at the international water industry event in the Netherlands.

Tsurumi, the world's leading submersible drainage pump manufacturer, will highlight its 90 years of experience in delivering effective and reliable pumping systems – particularly for tunnel construction – at IUT 2011 in Switzerland. The company will display a range of high-head, agitator and slurry pumps at the event.

Tsurumi (Europe) GmbH has established a Swedish subsidiary in partnership with its Swedish distributor Tsurumi-Intec Pump AB. Tsurumi has been present in Sweden through for years but will now serve the market directly. Tsurumi will draw on its 90 years of experience to deliver robust and reliable pumps to the Swedish mining and construction industry.

A squad of 47 Tsurumi pumps are providing a complete wastewater solution at a military training base in Bulgaria. The pumps, which were installed in March 2011, are a mix of aerators, agitators, cutters, decanters and sewage pumps. Their reliability and simple maintenance ensures the remote 144 km² base and 2,500 troops can focus on military training exercises and not worry about the wastewater situation on site.

Tsurumi has introduced its strongest ever pump cable as an option in Europe. The highly durable rubber cable meets the increased need for robust pumping equipment in the construction and mining sector.

Tsurumi is meeting the increased demand for powerful, reliable and robust pumping solutions in Europe with the introduction of four of its largest and most powerful contractor pumps. At almost 2m tall, the pumps are designed for high-head, high capacity and high pressure work in rugged conditions. Featuring capacities of up to 12,500 l/min and heads of up to 150m, the pumps join the global pump manufacturer's extensive product range.

Tsurumi aerators allow businesses to create their own cost-effective and self-contained solution for wastewater treatment – particularly useful in remote areas not covered by municipal wastewater treatment plants. The global pump manufacturer's TRN aerators have been used for this purpose at a remote holiday park on the island of Krk in Croatia.
